Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was a mixed bag with its rooms being in disrepair but immaculately set up, making for a very pleasant stay. The service was a bit inconsistent with lovely gestures from Carol but some staff appearing lazy. The location offered a cozy Vermont setting but was dated in places. Dining was average with limited selections, and facilities were decent.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were large and accommodating, more to my liking. They were very spacious and simple, providing comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. The service was meager, but the cleaning staff was very pleasant and kind, always going out of their way to assist. The location was dated but impressively clean, offering a serene environment for a peaceful night's rest with easy access to nearby attractions like Palmer House and Bromley and Stratton Mountains for skiing. The dining experience was great with a variety of hot and cold options, served in a quaint room with a wonderful view of the mountains. The facilities were top-notch, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The cozy rooms were very clean and well-equipped with ample towels and toiletries, perfect for both ski gear and leisure. However, there was a noticeable musty smell in one of the rooms, giving a damp and unpleasant basement vibe.
